From an inspiring keynote address to interactive sessions, this conference will offer you ideas and strategies you can take back to your classroom and use right away. You will experience two days of sessions led by CPM authors, teachers, administrators, teacher-leaders, and others who will share their experience and expertise, providing insights into best practices in teaching mathematics.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Dr. Timothy D. Kanold
Dr. Timothy D. Kanold, a mathematics educator and textbook author, holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Illinois, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. He served as Superintendent and Director of Mathematics and Science for 17 years at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Dr. Kanold is co-author of 27 mathematics textbooks grades 6-12. He has presented nationally and internationally over the past decade, with the primary focus on the creation of equitable learning experiences for all children in mathematics.
